The exterior is sanded smooth and polished with beeswax and pasteurized coconut oil

When carving, we strive to follow the naturally grown exterior form to achieve a balance between the natural exterior and our smooth carved interior. 16" x 14" x 5. 5" We buried this burl in the ground under wood shavings to age and darken. Once aged to our satisfaction, we carve, dry, sand and finish the burl over the course of a month.
